    Default Angraecum leonis

Plant is doing very well this year, 2 spikes & lots of buds hopefully.
It is one that is rare to see for sale & when it is, it sells out quickly & at stupid prices.
I selfed it last year to hopefully get a quantity of seedlings.
I really hope I at least get enough plants to supply friends who are seeking it.

Just gorgeous! I see yours has 4 leaf pairs - mine has 3. So a few more before I can expect a bloom. I nabbed mine at the Venice Are OS show (Venice, FL) in Feb, for only $15. Not sure if I can mention the vendor, but I'd share if I could.

No, can't mention Vendor. This plant has flowered for the last 3 or 4 years. The pairs of leaves is misleading as some of the bottom leaves have been removed. As long as the plant has plenty of indirect light & is growing well plus being settled in at your place it could flower. As I've mentioned here in the past, this Ang' totally dislikes being repotted & definitely frequently. Loves to be left alone provided the mix doesn't break down quickly.

It is growing well - it has put out a new leaf, and nice new root, but I think it it too young this year to flower. After seeing how yours is potted, I may gently move it to something a little larger. Most of the visible roots look dries and brown and are outside of the pot. I'll take it's pouting now, so that as it grows, it will already be settled into a good sized pot.

    Great job Roy!
