Thanks Sheryl! When I got mine it had a very small stalk and then I had another one grow about 4 inches above the first new one, no clue what I did to get them.

Sheryl - it is supposed to be a monopodial - the stem shouid just keep elongating. Any branches ( keikis ?) are an unexpected bonus - and I have to add - "I think this is the case" . Another "love to grow it, and even more to flower it" plant. I did have one, but it did not flourish in my conditions at that time, and it is never seen on dealers sales tables over here. So I just have to look at pics. And still love it !

This is really nice Jack. Thanks for posting.

I simply must get this species and grow it well. As I have mentioned before, I need some more space. But I have a tendency to make sure there is space somehow.

Thanks Arne! Yes the big "space" thing we all seem to need more! I always seem to come up with a solution for a little more space, thinking about it now as when I repot this year, because of the growth, I will need more space!

My solution to the space problem is to look especially at big plants, and ask myself, is that earning its keep ?
I know that I could discard half a dozen bulbos ( sorry Jack, they don’t do it for me ) all in 12 inch pans/ baskets or whatever, and still have just as many flowers next year. Their time is up....
Maybe just break them up and take large bucketful of 3-4 bulb pieces to one of my orchid societies, with a sign saying, help yourself....
Have just sent yet another last order (because of Brexit) to my favourite South American nursery, so 20 pots to find space for when the plants arrive, next month - will extend my Phrag collection substantially, as well as interesting looking Epidendrums, Encyclias, etc. Also a few species long on my wish list - Eriopsis, Houlletia, etc... probably never seen in UK because they won’t like our climate, but hey, someone has to be noble and self-sacrificing...
