You think that's it, Tim? I keep finding new, weird genera and am loving the discovery. Orchids could may enthrall us bright-shiny-object types compulsive-obsessives for a good long while!

It is indeed a peloric phal. As for the paph (It had 5 blossoms, all huge!) - well you'll just have to wait for HOA to tell you. He's the name guy..

    Well,
I believe that Paph is a Berenice but the best Berenice plant from Norito. He wants to sell this plant for $400+ or something like that. Huge plant, humongous flowers, thick fat long petals such that I have never seen anything like it in that cross but still retaining the gracefulness of the parental species. Well, I did not get that plant but instead I got another plant that got an AM/AOS, a division of his awarded plant of that species (for $100). Julie, if you want that Berenice, you still have time, just tell me ... Hehhehe!!!

Thank you Hoa for offering, but I simply refuse to spend a penny more than $375 for a Berenice!

Maybe I should post the close-up of one of the blooms... . just to let you consider it further - - I mean, what's $400 when it comes to an orchid???

    Hmm...

    1 @ $400 vs 8 @ $50...

Ok, I'll pass on the Berenice, thanks!
