Beautiful flowers! I love their color and freckles! Did you make the cross, Aaron?

I made the cross on this plant, and grew it from seed. But I know this cross has been done before. I have a friend who has one out of another batch (not my plants) and his is are a cream color with purple freckles.

Very nice! Do you think it's worthy of judging? It's a nice bloom to my rookie eye...

I think so! Next year I am going to give it a whirl. I have one that is setting 4 spikes right now. So next year I should get at least 8 spikes at one time, which will give me a good time frame to have it judged. The blooms on this cross only last 3 days from opening, so there isn't alot of time to make it happen.
