There are two more Neo hybrids which are on my hunt list.

    1. Ascofinetia Peaches
    2. Vandofinetia Virgil

These two are all fragrant according to my orchid book, the second one has green petals and a red throat.

Well Diane, you and Hoa have pushed me over the edge. I promised myself no more orchids this fall and I seen this picture. About the same time I seen one for a really good price so I bought it. Hopefully it will be here before the holiday weekend. You two are very bad influences on me.

Was it a Neo, Julie? And if so, which variation did you get?

Qing and I have been whipping each other into a frenzy via PM's and we've both just binged on multiple Neos! It's Diane's and Kirstie's faults!

    Bad girls - bad!

    Hehehe...

No, Diane, but could you send me a link to an orange one, a blue one, and some variegated leaved ones for less than um..... $40 total?
    I would like some more.

Julie and Qing - be sure to post pictures.

I just bought 3 Neos, one is white, another is pink, and the last is yellow. Both the pink and yellow are in spike.

Neo hybrids are a lot less expensive than Neo, my Darwinara Charm 'Blue Star' cost only $10, but it is still young. Neostylis Lou Sneary also has a blue version, I think it is 'blue bird'. If you seach those names on the web, you will find quite a few vendors carry these plants. Here are the hybrids I know:

    Ascofinetia
    Darwinara Charm
    Neostylis Lou Sneary
    Vandofinetia

Neo hybrids takes Neo's flower form, vanda's color. These colors vary from red, orange, purple, blue, green, pink, white, etc. The hybrids can tolerate cold, warm, takes less light and humidity than vanda. Most of the primary hybrids are fragrant too.

    Qing is shameless!
    More Neos = Goodness!

Me? I've always loved their delicate white pureness, but no one ever said they come in colors!!!

My first instinct was a specimen pink. But that's because I hate buying seedlings that take half a lifetime to grow up. But then I thought, two-growth plants are usually blooming size, and that if I got three of those in representative pink forms, they'd all grow up to specimen size in no time!

That the Japanese fetish for Neos drives the price into the stratosphere, also encourages one to stick with smaller plants.

Cool foliage is less my thing, so I chose by flower form and color. Three different pink forms. They'll arrive tomorrow and I'll see what I've got. I believe some will be in spike.

    Bad girls...bad!

McJulie - I missed how you became Mc? And then, well, when they are specimen sized, I see no reason why you'd miss a growth or 2 *giggle*
Funny little Neo kick everyone went on LOL!
