    Cat grass is usually sprouted wheat or barley. You can buy either the growing grass or the seeds at most pet stores and some grocery stores. Cats naturally crave greens, and this is the most popular way to get it to them. As I said, my cat seems to prefer to wait until it dries up to eat it.... but she does munch on it a little when it is green...
