Default Is Aerides quinquevulnera underappreciated?

A sea of pink-purple dots!

Aerides quinquevulnera is endemic to the Philippines and has recently been described from New Guinea.

This is the usual form; albeit this is perhaps better than what is commonly seen because the background is clear white, the flowers are a bit bigger, and the petals and sepals are not markedly retroflexed.
