    Default Bulbophyllum lobii

    The color form is not so common. The hues come out different with the photo taken using sunlight.

    I like the shadow play on the petals in the third picture is wonderful - shows depth. Very well done! Bravo!!

    Lovely flower, its just too bad that bulbos smell like something one of my killer kitties dragged under the deck 3 days before in the heat of summer.

    Its usually the red spectrum bulbos that smell that way. YUM! Bulb. phaleonopsis

    Thank you, Sake of Silence, now that I think back on it red ones are the only color I've ever been close to. Now there's another type of orchid I've got to try to resist! Non-red bulbos. Argh!!

    What a beauty!!! The sepals looks so much wider on your clone... such a variable species...
