    Very unusual orchid, but fasinating. It looks like it is sticking out a very sick tongue. Is the entire bloom as textured as it looks?

    I am constantly amazed at the wide variation in the shape of bulbo flowers! Great picture, Nelson.

    BTW - How is the work going on creating your orchid haven?
