    That's very cool. We have a very similar type orchid that is native to the US. I will have to go back to my references and look it up..

    I had one of these, and it didn't look near as good as yours! Nice flower!

    It kinda looks like the US native Goodyera pubescens, if that is the one you were thinking of Diane...

    This is definitely one of those orchids that full appreciation comes from a close inspection... I love the lip shape of this plant.
