    Bizarre...was this a split from Bulbophyllum? Certainly looks like one.

    Mastigion was split from Cirrhopetalum in 1994. Cirrhopetalum is VERY closely related to Bulbophyllum, where some Bulbo. species were segregated into this genus. That's about all I can bore you with...
