    Default Angraecum eichlerianum

I recently acquired this last week. I was told to water this at the plant and not at the pot. I am assuming that the reason for this is due to the plant's vining nature. The flowers are sweetly fragrant.

Beautiful flowers! Is the fragrance stronger in the evening?

It's stronger in the evening, but you can smell it during the day too.

That is awesome! Our Angraecum is in major spike and bud. Maybe we will have blooms very soon too!

    Cheers,

My angraecum is growing madly, but it's not showing any signs of spiking. I'll enjoy your lovely blooms in the meantime! But I'm showing them to my plant, hoping to inspire it!

I'm going to show the eichlerianum to the leonis. I hope that the eichlerianum will inspire the leonis to bloom. :-)

Gorgeous angie!! I have two. Both are growing nicely, but never bloomed for me yet. How do you do it? Is blooming temperature dependent?

I aquired one of these angaecums about 8 months ago, but it has been a bit slow to start. Last week I mounted it on cork bark with some sphagnum moss, having seen a brilliant photo of one in Madagascar on a branch. It's the the first time I have tried bark culture (fingers crossed)!
