Oh, okay. Maybe that is why I did not notice any fragrance. I didn't think to stick my nose to the flower. I was just trying to get there and back home! LOL.

    Cheers,

Bruce, I always thought the pronunciation was "an-GRAY-cum". Not that botanical latin is my first language...LOL!

Yours is lovely, and congrats on the ribbon! Well deserved!

Tami, Bruce's is a primary hybrid cross between Angcm. sesquipdale the MSBG hooha flower, and Angcm. superbum.

My Angcm. veitchii is getting rather large, and I'm hoping it does something soon...I didn't realize how large they can get! That's sesquipdale x eburneum. The flower is very similar.

    Okay...

Here it is, sitting in front of my 19" monitor. It may not be large for an Angraecum, but it's large for my apt!

Disregard the snotty tissue to the left. The photographer wasn't aiming for award quality work here - and it is January in New England! If you look carefully, you'll see Molly Taco - that renaissance cat's - name on my screen. Please notice the empty scotch glass. It ran out tonight. Very poor planning on my part. I'm going to go to bed now, morose and sober. Sort of.

LOL - emptying the hooch closet isn't advised in this house...

I'm starting to run low, so I'm guessing there are maybe 7 cases of wine in the cellar. The glasses you see are scotch little wine like glass, and my pint water glass - I guzzle water all day and night! Wine glasses are much bigger - somewhat between the two pictured.

Er...but I thought we were speaking of my Angraecum...

That's a real beauty Bruce! Love how it sparkles and something about having water on itmakes it more like it's just come from the darkest jungles of Africa!

Okay...I'm not sure I get your point, Tim...

You could have commented on my Angraecum, on my lack of scotch, on my overabundance of vino, and on my snotty tissue. But instead you chose to comment on my super bum?

    You're such a prince!
