    So sorry. I think I will follow Gin's advice - Point and shoot. Thanks for sharing it with us though, it is really an interesting bloom. The hairs on the lip are fascinating.

    I think I saw one of those at work, do they close up at night?

    not that I am aware of but the greenhouse isn't lit, so I am never in it at night

    Check in the morning, it should still be closed or just opening up. Makes me happy about growing such evolved plants.
