That is just lovely- so dainty! How big are the flowers? They appear small, and that's just what I like!!

I absolutely love that plant, the blooms are fantastic. With the spots and the mauve, wowee!

I think I need to go away now and cry. I want one

The flowers are huge compared to the plant size, 2" across, and 5" from tip to tail. I almost killed it by growing it too warm. But since I moved it to my office, it got stablized.

What sort of conditions do you have in your office? I am being tempted here, and am going to have to go off and find out more info about Masds.

The temperature in my office at this time is 60F/night, 70F/day. I have a fish tank with small fan installed. 8 of my masds are growing inside, the humidity is 65 - 90%. In my home, the masds are also put in a fish tank, but the temp is 72F/night, 78F/day, humidity 70-85%, but the masds don't do well there.

What are the dimensions of the fish tank? We've got a couple going spare in the garage.....

My husband is so going to kill me if I bring this idea to the dinner table!

It is a 10 gallon one, 20"L 12"H 10"W, here is a photo. I cut the light down to 1 bulb only, 23W CFL. I found two lights were making their leaves yellowing.

Beautiful one there! I love those spots and that colour. I can certainly see similarities to my Masdevallia Sprinkles ‘Spotty’ (Steven Male x decumana) (it's posted somewhere).

Yes these decumana don't like to be warm. Mine was also quite stressed, and the new blooms are smaller than before...
