    Default Coelogyne cristata

Got this one yeaterday almost for free Well it's not in great shape - only got leaves on the two newest pb's (it grew in two directions) the rest (9) are bare. It's now growing (hopefully ) way in the bottom of my new vivarium where I'm planning on keeping it quite cool - now I just have to figure out how to withhold watering next winter...

It has a very nice bloom to it, it looks very delicate. I haven't got a clue about the watering though, so can't offer you any advice.

It must've had the "OMG, I'm going to die, I better make a flower" syndrome if it made flowers with only leaves on one pb! It looks gorgeous anyways- I'm certain that with care, it will be wonderful!

I really like these guys, I think the flowers are beautiful and the scent is pretty nice, just a shame that the plants themselves can look a little messy. I would still buy one in a flash, var. alba in particular but I'm not sure I can keep them cold, dry and bright in the winter. Pah!
