Mine has been in flower for a while too. Check the plant at night for a fragrance, its moth pollinated, thus the long spur/nectary. Mine is a gardenia type scent. Kind of hard to grwo mounted because of the fine roots, its oky though.

    Wink Elena...

Your wishlist must be huge by now! I'm sure somewhere you said that just before Christmas you only had a couple of phals, and now your place must on the verge of resembling a greenhouse.

With only 13 plants I'm still a fair bit away from living in a green house but my wish list is huge

This is the Aerangis I saw at the show, stupidly I didn't take the picture of the whole tag so I don't know which one it is.

That is a lovely plant, maybe someone here will know, I don't know if Aerengis are hybridized as much as other orchids.

Only 13 plants? Even so, you certainly seem to have gone for variety, which is good, and likely to increase looking at all the wonderful photos on this site.

    Elena,

That is A. fastuosa as well. Nice picture! That plant is quite a bit older than my little first bloomer...

I would have had two buds this year with the first bud being larger, but the dang thing blasted! ARGH!

Kerry, I think my approach at the moment is to try and many different genera as possible to find out which like me and which don't

Clint, really? It's great to finally know the name of that little guy, I've been kicking myself for not noting the name down for a weeks now because I really did like it! It's a shame about the blasted bud but I'm sure you'll get many more in the years to come!
