Default Cym Golden Elf 'Sun Dust'

Actually got a cym to bloom. No easy task for me. Nice lemony scent. For those unfamiliar w. Golden Elf, its a cym that actually likes warm temps.

Kind of a relative thing, Becky. Compared to minicatts & such, yes it is large. Compared to a standard Cym, no it is small. Would ya'll say about 1/2 to 2/3 the size of a standard cym?

Beautiful! I've got to ask, though: How much does it like warm temps? Did you have to put it outside for a while to get it to bloom? I LOVE cymbidiums but live in an NYC apt with no way to put one outside for the lower temps that most need. If there's one that wouldn't mind spending 365 days a year in an apt, though, I'd definitely try it...

I live in in apt in Michigan. Summertime I try to throw those plants that can handle/endure full sun on my balconey. [I still have a while to wait for that as I'm sure you can relate LOL.]
