Default for mini lovers, Trachoma sp.

Maybe you haven't seen one before? The longest leaf is 9 cm. and the biggest bloom is barely 0.5 cm. across.

That's fantastic Nelson, I can't get over the size and how delicate these flowers are in real life! It does make me wonder what insect they rely on for fertilising them though.

I went to a small show yesterday with Tom, and we saw lots of mounted mini sized orchids. Tom thought they were great and thinks that I should get interested in these - I had to tell him that we would probably need a vivarium for them as we probably couldn't give all these plants the conditions that they need.

You should really persuade him it's soo nice to grow in a vivarium - you could allways say that he can get one of these then: http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...et-tarzan.html

I love the way they cluster at the base of the plant, very nice.
