    Default Staurochilus luzonensis

    Staurochilus luzonensis Ames is endemic to the Philippines, where it is found in some provinces of Luzon and Mindanao islands. The original specimen was obtained from Quezon province in Luzon in 1913.

    Staurochilus is closely related to Trichoglottis.

    Even though I live here in the Philippines.

    There are lots of orchids which are endemic here that I still don't know.


    Sometimes I think I'm an alien to my own country...=(

    Yes, Marc, that is so true. Nelson has introduced me to many - many orchids that I probably would have never have seen. We are very lucky he is so sharing with all of us.
