Just some updated pictures of this little beauty. The flowers just opened up this morning, and this is the female flower form. It has a wonderful scent that smells like sour apple jolly ranchers! Enjoy

I wish I had some that were going to throw off some male flowers so I could do some crossing. But I grow all of my plants in such high light that I doubt that I will have any male flowers this season.

I got hooked on these lovely orchids on a trip to Maui; I have Cycnoches barthiorum; can’t wait for it to flower. I am going to an orchid meeting on Sunday and the speaker is talking about these lovely orchids... and I believe he is bringing some for sale... Maybe I should go and move some plants over, now as I am sure some new ones will come home with me.

Ctsm callosum is supposed to be an easy grower. I have one that is easy only in that I didn't manage to kill it. But it put up a really whimpy growth this season. I expect it is just trying to adjust from wherever it came recently. Shouldn't it get pretty chubby?
