    Bright and well draining medium... They do better in baskets or on mounts. This one is in a clay pot with medium bark mix.

    Thanks Ron....

    I've got the bright part down (better even here in Colorado, so maybe they will get happier) and it's possible they don't like my medium. It's so dry here I use a med. bark mix that has some chopped sphag and CHC-my catts LOVE it. *shrug* Will keep trying, just love the encyclica blooms.

    Does your encyclica have a fragrance? I have a tampensis and don't smell anything. Wondering if I'm trying to smell it at the wrong time of day or if not all have a fragrance.
