    Default Grammatophyllum scriptum var Kiilani

Grammatophyllums are very large plants but recently there have been smaller varieties hitting the market at shows. This plant is only 18 cm (7") tall with a 45 cm (18") spike. The flowers don't appear to open fully. I spread the flower a bit for the pic. I am crossing it with my Cym aloifolium. I am going to do the cross both ways.

I've been waiting for the smaller growing scriptums. Very cool!
