It is a fairly good sized plant but shows a fair bit of spotting etc. from shipping or the previous owner's culture. Here it is and a division with a new leaf (the flower fell of and is on the foil behind it now)

It made a lot more of the indeterminant spikes over the winter but was only keeping a few flowers at a time until it got outside. Recently it has been going nuts with over 20 active spikes. This gives a better idea how funky these plants can be - they remind me fly fishing the way they are presented:

I may have to check these out! Are they cool growers? From the trees I see in the background you are probably up north.

It is warm to cool (tolerant). I am in NC but in the mountains - 75 average high temp in summer. Some of the other species are cool growers though IIRC. They are really fun, you should grab some!

Thanks, but I don't really do anything - it is still in the same little basket/coconut as it was in the old pics from 2 years ago.... I just water it once a day and don't fertilize as regularly as I should. It is a pretty easy going plant. It does spike through the media/basket so I would not put it in a clay pot etc.

If I hadn't just went greenhouse crazy this weekend I might add it to my list to look for...but right now the OH is outside discovering all my new 'chids. And he's not looking like he's up for any more right now. lol
