    Default Coelogynes gotta go!

I have discovered that I'm just not into the Coelogynes...and my space is limited enough (and wish list BIG enough) that if I'm not into something, they should go.

    So...listed on orchid bids are:

Coelogyne fimbriata and Coelogyne longpipes (schultesii). Both are blooming sized (and technically both have bloomed for me, but I blasted the buds somehow on the fimbriata).

I started the no reserve bids low, less than I paid for each plant-someone should enjoy them!

I would be willing to trade for a blooming sized maxillaria or paph.

    ENJOY!

I know you wanted to trade for a couple dif. kinds, but would you trade for a blue cattleya section?

Thanks for the trade Jenny! The fimbriata arrived today. Now to repot it. Actually, I think I am going to mount this one. I wil share a pic of it after it is done.

Here are a couple pics....the section you will be getting is in a basket right now. One leaf is kind of hard to see, it is in the shape of a 'C'. But all three growths are big, adult size and healthy. I measured from the base of the leaf, not the base of the p-bulb, the three leaves are 6,7, & 8 inches. It is a section from an adult plant. One of the two pictures of flowers was the parent plant. Both had large pretty flowers. This is a cross of Lc. Purpurata and Lc. Walkeriana....

Do you want me to remove it from the basket? It has coconut fiber and a small amount of fir bark in the middle. It is newly potted....in a straw basket somewhat in the look of an easter basket, as shown above.

Thank you Ron...it's been fun! I am sure that little fimbriata will be happier in your humidity there!

    Hey Connie,

Looks great, and it would probably be easier for you to ship if you unpot-so that's fine. I'll repot into the mix that works for catts here with no humidity!

    Thanks!

We already have tons of English people here this time of year....we'd love to have you here in Florida! The more the merrier! Especially when they are as nice as you....I know of a nice place close to the beach that has tea every afternoon.....let me know when to make your appointment.
