Default Summer Grow Area

Have all my chids outdoors now. Most are under 70% shade cloth, which I bought at a Home Imp store and then sewed together to fit the stands that I had. The ones in the background against the windows are all Phals and Paphs. The ones on the stands are catts, onc.,odnta. brassia dends milts. vandas. etc.

Wow - look at all of those healthy looking orchids! Brilliant setup with the wheeled racks! It must make moving them so much easier.

Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

OMG....where did you get those stands??? I need about six of them! (it's that or put wheels on my rattan shelves) The whole set up is great and would work on my porch.

Your set up is so clean and organized! Well done, I am sure the plants are very happy. I am constantly re-thinking where the best spot for my orchids are and seem to move them around 5 or 6 times each summer. Sigh...

Nice setup.

I like the stand on the left. I might get one for my patio where I can place the phals outside in summer.

Great setup, Ischel. Your 'chids sure look happy. And you have a lovely deck, too, with a nice shaded area for the phals. I keep my phals and phrags on the deck (paphs and bloomers in the house). Good idea on the shade cloth to fit the racks. Where you putting the new Ryn? Guess I ought to ask myself that too!!!

After it acclimates it will go on the deck with the rest. Think I'll keep it under the oaks for a while though. Tomorrow is D-day(delivery day). Planning on staying home all day so I don't miss the big arrival.
