Really creative use of space Ron....do you hire out? You could travel the world helping people set up their growing areas more efficiently!

necessity is truly the mother of invention..

Paul, I am currently rearranging things and creating more room in the process. I had a slow week, I only added one new species this week.

Oh, the other night I saw one of those middle-of-the-night programs on the environement, can't remember what channel but it was about a thirty-story hydroponic farm inside an urban area, and the speaker was saying that one building like that for every so-many blocks could feed all of New York city with local produce....

This suggests a whole lot of possibilities for greenhouse development in the "rust belt" and I can see that orchid-growers have some reall valuable skills in that regard!

I'm now looking with new eyes at all the tall buildings going up around here, too!

    Ron-NY, you are a pioneer!

Ron, you are a VERY lucky man. It is so nice of Glen to let you use space in his GH..... and you also have first pick of the new species coming in. I always marvel at the many varieties you picture. I always look for your posts to enjoy the beauty of nature and your growing skills.

Awesome growing spaces! I do agree with Paul though - you gotta get some more stuff into those empty spaces!!! Man, if that was my space, I'd have it crowded like no other!!

If I had it totally filled, I wouldn't have room to continue collecting and then would have to make decisions on what I had to get rid of to get what I wanted to add. I know that someday I will reach that point. I have divested a few things already.
