If I were to put a greenhouse around here I'd want one just like yours! An ex secretary, my desk is still immaculate....I am forever rearranging the front porch and cleaning out the icky junk that seems to accumulate. I'd absolutely love to know how you keep those Vandas in pots like that without totally ruining the roots??
    Very Nice!

Connie, no secret there, I had them in a different type of container. I used to use pots with many extra holes but it wasn't working so I put them in these containers which are latice work style for more air movement around the roots. When I repotted all the roots went in the pot, because of the container problem there weren't excessively long but healthy. They won't be there for long, not with spring and the growing seaon here now.

Wow Roy, you have a great setup, everything looks so professionally done, clean, neat and plenty of room around pots. Can I ask you, what do you have your vandas hanging on? It looks like some sort of wire, how thick is it?

The wire is galvanised clothes line wire and the thick type, 3.5 mm. I used eye bolts each end so I can keep it tight, just screw the nut up as the wire stretches, which it does.

Tim, the Vandas stay where they are. I could put them outside but our humidity in summer is generally less than 30% which is too lower by miles. We do have weeks of 15% or less on end, on bad fire weather days 5 - 6%.
There is always space for more plants. 3 more coming this week.
