    just stumbled on this thread

    Wow! wonderful grow area

just wondering on how do you manage all of your orchids, you mentioned fine misting, is it daily? mine is only around 50 and give them daily misting using spray bottle and spend about an hour before going to work and water it every week. and to add another 50 would mean i have to wake up at 3AM just to be on time for work

Speaking of my pet turtle .... this is an old thread and after all these years it has grown really BIG.

I don't think my turtle will qualify as a good orchid mascot since don't they eat plants as well???

I remember a commercial orchid-grower friend of mine who has this big, exotic turtle (I don't know what kind this is but it is pretty) that she occasionally lets loose to roam freely around her garden as a form of exercise. One day we were talking with each other and her turtle started heading towards some of her prized and expensive ferns. I was surprised when she suddenly shouted in the direction of the turtle, "Oh no you don't! Stay away from my prized ferns!" and started running for the turtle which also started running away and trying to get away. That was a fast turtle! I was laughing at my friend when she later came back to me.

    Hi Jojo,

You have a lot of orchid collection, I'm surprise you are able to do it with such limited space. Eager to know how many plants
    that you have?

    Regards,
