    Mabuhay!

    @jef
    same here. that's why i thought for a moment that the username seems familiar. Anyway, i tried to PM you but it seems that its not yet functioning for you.

    @kiwiorchids
    that's what i'm afraid of. they're big even huge. Well, actually, the pine tree was bought by my sister because she wants to decorate a "real christmas tree" when the yuletide season comes. That's why i just can't dispose of it and i don't want to actually because i can use the tree to support my orchids and some of my vines maybe in the future. Now if you will look closely, you'll notice that there's another "pine tree" already planted on the ground. I forgot the name but i'll take a pic of it soon to be identified. Anyway, its a slow grower i guess its been with me for at least 5-7 years now. But 2 pine trees in my small backyard? huhuhuhu

    @orcoholic
    thanks for the compliment. that's not cheating its called an " overwhelming opportunity" hehehehehe.

    thanks everyone.

    @jef..thanks for the compliment. I don't count my plants......they say its bad luck when you count your plants. hehehehhehe. of course, i would love to show you my garden but i have to warn you that it only looks good on the picture. In actual, i have a chaotic garden....anyway..as i've said its a work in progress.

    Lovely lush additions to your private paradise. I think the very concept of a chaotic garden is all it needs to capture my full interest, complete dedication, undying love and patience. i think you need to consider planting more trees so that in 30 yrs time you will have fresh space to adorn with epiphytes.

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! It makes me wish I lived in such a lush, wonderful place! I sure am jealous of those of you that can grow orchids in their natural habitats! I've been thinking about trying to find some of the paph "pink moccasin" orchids that grow wild in PA and transplanting some into my forest... but they're nothing quite like yours! That is IF I could even find any! I saw some on the internet for sale a while back, and I SHOULD have gotten them! Oh well! Until that day, I'll just be content with staring at pictures of those lucky enough to live in the tropics!
