Mojamoja. I love your garden...be aware, however that snakes ALWAYS go where they can find food (frogs) so, you will probably see the snake again. Anyway, have a Happy New Year, and stay healthy! Betty :-)

    Mabuhay!

@ron..thank you so much for the info. so it's not a phal? its a vanda then? I looked it up over the internet but i can't seem to find any info on it aside being a vandaceous specie. And i put it in a place where my phals are where there aint much sunshine. How do i take care of it if its a vanda?

    happy new year

its not a vanda, pteroceras grows pretty much on phal conditions, but can take more light though.

Hi Mojamoja , I love your garden very very much, you have very big compound and big tree on your backyard to accommodate your orchids and others ornamental looked so natural great job, hoping all they can thrive very well and reward you em..em..em beautiful blooms. The fern there especially their roots are best places for the snake and other critters to rest there, watch up.
The last photo could be Pterocheras or Thriperximum is not vanda.Zain

    Unhappy

    Mabuhay!

Thank you all for appreciating my garden. But for now as i have more time spending it with my garden...it suddenly dawned on me that i am not quite happy how my garden looks at this point in time. There's something lacking in it.

A pond? or maybe i should add some flowering terrestrials. I see to many leaves and not so many flowers. I am really sad about this but i still want the natural-jungle look. And though i am seeing some infestations like scales i don't want to really use chemical pesticides. I'll update you soon my friends...

Add a nepenthes into the mix... I find that nepenthes and orchids compliments each other.
When no orchids are in bloom the pitcher of the nepenthes more than makes up for it....

Hi, this is what I plan to do. Do you just tie it around the tree? need to water them more often?
