    Every time I look at your photos, I think for a moment.....that you live in the jungle... and I see you have quite a few orchids that are surprising you nicely - such a surprise I like the most!
    Very beautiful photos!

    Mujacko, seeing your photos makes me think that I need to take a trip home to the Philippines ASAP. The last time I was back for a visit was in 2008. I am due for one and the next time I go, I'll have to keep my eyes open for all the orchids growing in the patios.

    Just lovely

    Mabuhay!

    @paph....thank you so much. Actually, i really want my garden to have a forest type effect. I'll be planting 2 or 3 more fruit bearing trees and i have a small (as of now) pine tree that i don't know where it will fit in the picture. anyway, thank you thank you

    @joyce....kabayan!!! nothing beats the natural wonders of our archipelago truly "the pearl of the orient seas". Have you read/seen the black coral massacre?

    God, the incident was unthinkable and the perpetrators got out of the country. geesssh!!!

    Anyway, dapat naman bumalik sa ating bayan paminsan-minsan. Thank you for the compliment.

    Anyhow, just took some picks of my orchids after the rain.

    I am sick with envy, to be able to mount an orchid in a tree and have it live over the winter! Oh yeah, that's right, you don't have winter. Lead me to the tropics. I could preach about conservation, but if I were in your place I too would want to rescue these lovely plants from destruction. As we say here I'd find myself between a rock and a hard place.

    I would be in SERIOUS trouble if I lived near you! I would do almost anything to grow those types of orchids outside!

    THANK YOU for sharing those wonderful photos, buddy. I think orchids never look better than when they're presented naturally, as you've done. Continued good growing.
    Cheers,
    Tony

    Mabuhay!

    @kiwi...thanks my friend

    @ischel...anything for conservation. If i could only buy all those endangered endemic species of my country, i would. thanks too.

    @kwlee....thank you so much

    @dukejenn.....well, i want to have a mini-jungle. hehehe. actually, i just added rambutan and starapple seedlings in the brood but i have to wait for many years (i hope to witness it by that time hehehe knock on wood) before i can put orchids on their branches.

    @Hoanui....thankyou. but you know, i would love to go to Scotland someday. I just fell in love with the country though the Asian Food Channel and the Merlin TV Show. I would actually, trade my orchids just to be there. hehehehe.

    @otis226...thank you so much.

    I really appreciate all the kind words folks eventhough there are so many here including yourselves whose collections are far-more varied and truly magnificent setups. Its folks like you who inspire me to become a better orchid gardener day after day. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

    Godbless
