Decompost,
That is a nice greenhouse that you have for your 'chids! I could see that you have many other plants in there as well. Now you know, you can always find more room for the orchids just by moving the other green stuff out of the greenhouse! Hehe...
Thanks for sharing and posting.
Shalene,
You had a break in!? Hope you were all right?
Cheers. Hoa.

Most of the shelf space belongs to the 'chids,

right well, Ellie, if you're gonna talk like that... with such precocity, well geez, you fit in fine with J & D! I like you already!
now, these attachments... am I the only one unable to partake of these visions of your orchid boudoir? I wonder why I cannot see them...

That's Clivia miniata ~ which, I am now noticing, is taking up quite a lot of space.
And, thanks to you too, Tim ~ too saucy too soon, you think? ~

That is a very fine clivia -- is it the red or the yellow? Perhaps it would like a new home in California

LOL, thanks Diane, I'll keep you in mind. This one is actually a sort of a pastel orange, the yellow is on my wish list.

here in Oz too, we see the orange ones heaps... but the yellow ones... well let's just say, someone had one in a garden once and after it flowered... well, it lasted less than one week! That's how desperate people around here are about that variety!
and as for being too saucy... oh gosh no! I think it was the deliverance... witty dare I say...

Thanks for the reply. I've never heard of Clivia but am wondering why on earth someone named it "mini-ata"? LOL... certainly nothing miniature about it!

Hoa, we were fine just freaked out. A 16 year old came in an open window, grabbed my purse and went out. They have him for now and it has been about 4 months so we are getting over it.
I do have lots more room but need more shelves, money, and time. Any rich uncles out there that would like to adopt an orchid addict????

Where I grow....
I think I first showed my grow areas here while I was living in Palm Springs, Fl. Then I posted a link showing pics of my new shadehouse in Okeechobee being built... http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...8AZtWjZm1cN2Kj
Now, here's an update to show my shadehouse......
