Thanks for your kind? comments folks, I'm now getting a complex over the house condition. The organisation of the plants is something I've always done. I can remember where every plants is ( mostly ) & I can tell fairly easily if one isn't doing well. It also helps by having the various genera in the right part of the house where they grow best.

The empty space is mostly right under the hanging plants. I don't like plants in this area as water dripping from top plants could drop fungus onto the lower plants and start rots. It can also spot/damage flowers. There are some plants under the hangers but between rows so little if any runoff contacts them, they are also plants that have this happen in nature and don't mind the extra shade.

Of course, you know what she means by "organize" might not be what you have in mind. I don't think you'll be pointing out where she should move that set of plants.....

I think men are far better at organization. Cooking? Being Southern, we grew up cooking and it had better be good, too. Now do I like to cook...ummmm, not so much. But I have a great list of places to call for take out

Ah my dream orchid house! Can I give you my eye teeth for it? My consie has two solid walls whose shade makes my collection possible; but as an orchid and fern lover, I would prefer only a few side windows or none at all, and just to have a glass roof, like you...
