Hi Jeff so sorry to hear of your misfortune but at least your family are safe.God sometimes throws all kinds of obsticles in our path to test us and with your obvious green fingers you will be alright. Here in South Africa we read or see on tv the numerous disasters around the world and can only have sympathy for those affected as we don't experience the same here.We are more worried about someone stealing our collections.Keep us informed and stay well, best regards.

oh boy, sorry to see all that mess!
see the bright side of this, your house is still standing, not all the plants are lost and you made it safely through it.

Jeffrey I get the feeling that your a very resilient kind of guy. At some low moments this following poem by William Wordsworth has always been a comfort to me as I hope it will be for you. "What so the radiance which was once so bright. Be now for ever taken from my sight. Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower; We will grieve not, but rather find strength in what remains behind." AL

thank you very very much doug, ron and orchidsal, may God bless you all. My family are safe, glad we dont have floods in our place.
Some of my plants got back to their original position at the garden, just have to repair the net or buy another one. As of now another typhoon is hitting our country again, but i believe that my garden will be spared.

    Mabuhay!

At first, i am overwhelmed by the mess created by the typhoon, if it happened to me i will sulk for a week before i even step foot in a scene like that. But first and foremost, i thank God that you and your family is safe and no floodings in your area. And, i guess mother nature is telling you how much space you still have and needs to fill it up with orchids ASAP. and you need to buy a bigger net since mother nature "removed" the coconut tree from your garden so just you'll have more space. Glad you're ok my friend.

    Godbless
