Eventhough we are both sad, i would still say "Mabuhay!"

Even in my garden, there's this tall ornamental tree called "fortune tree" fell down because of the strong winds brought by the typhoon. The sad things about it is that it trampled on some of my plants, i have to transfer the orchids attached on the fortune tree to its new location and plus the hard work that i have to put into just to fix everything so that somehow my garden would look neat again. PAGASA said that we are still to be visited by 7 more STs, i hope that its not going to be true. I feel for you jef but we still have to be thankful somehow because no one was hurt and we are very much lucky compared to those people who are really in the eye of the storm and the massive floodings this typhoon is causing in some parts of the city.

    keep safe and Godbless

I just started hearing about the typhoon that hit Manilla and the Phillippine Islands. It seems news of this travels rather slowly to the U.S.A. I hope that you all stay safe and I hope you all come out of this with minimal problems. AL

The good news! You and your family are safe. Orchids are resilient. Go home and take a look. You might just find that nature made the decision on where to divide an orchid. Instead of one plant you just might have two

    Thanks Cathy. :-)

Some of them are already devided, just the cymbidium finlaysonianum which need a major division (which I think nice and cute as a clump).

As of now im a bit relaxed, because some of them were saved by me ..... Because i left my work yesterday (asked my lead that i will take a halfday work) and went home as fast as I can to save them. :-).....

I'll post some pic later to show what happend.....

Very nice collection, nothing humble about it. I envy you folks that live in such warm and orchid friendly climates.
