    Default Office grow area

I didn't realize how big it's gotten until I tried to photograph it! Here's my grow area - at work! I now have a 60watt plant light since I've moved away from the giant windows I used to sit next to. And my trusty humidifier

And here are my latest additions from the NOS orchid show in CT (left to right):
Bulb. claptonense, Max. tenufolia (my first two species!), UFO paph. I'm hoping to get a response from the grower regarding what this one actually is. The tag was just a letter and number code...

Is there any room for you, Ali? And is that your Sorcerer's Apprentice I see there in S/H? How do your plants do with the lighting in there? Very nice office garden!

Nice way to cheer up your office. Are any of them fragrant? Would love to read the 'Coffee vs Tea poster'

Haha Maura! I may be rearranging to give myself a little more space, but we have a surprising amount of room in our cubes. What I wouldn't give for an actual office!
Yep, that's the Sorcerer's Apprentice, it came in s/h so I'm keeping it that way - seems to be pretty happy I've considered moving my paphs to s/h but they're thriving in their bark mix so I'll let them be. My zygo which finished blooming about two months ago is very fragrant, it's quite lovely! I have a little yellow phal that's slightly fragrant but it hasn't bloomed again since I got it as a gift And my Epi Mabel Kanda (next to the phrag) is supposed to be fragrant but I've been having trouble getting that one to do anything! It's still a baby though, so I need to patient.

Dazed - I might still have the original file I printed that from...if I can find it I'll post it!

I really can't wait for the Bllra to bloom! So many buds, and it seems to be very happy Thanks all for the kind words!

What a nice office - it's good to have something to look forward to at work!! I imagine the plants help keep you centered and calm. I know mine do that for me.

I would ruffle a few feathers and get a petition up and running to get your giant windows back. We can sign it. You could manipulate all your work colleagues essentially informing them that the air they breathe is no longer orchid pure stamped approved with less light!

Quick Q! Did you sell all the office equipment, pc and printers, files and compliance audits to fund your un controllable addiction.? I would start compiling some alibies!

Love it! Spontaneous organised chaos. On a serious note isnt it sad that this is soon becoming our only way of appreciating the green in the flesh. Some intelligent race of species has chopped dry and wet forests down, destroyed variable habitats and covered them in concrete and poisoned the rest with its 7 sins. Tut! Honestly who would do a stupid thing like that! The cure for Cancer and HIV/Aids was amongst all that lot!

The reason I have them all at the office is that I don't get nearly enough light at home We have overhead fluorescents here too which I think help the lack of giant windows/natural light. I want to get another plant light for the right side of the setup since the lamp I have only shines so far. I'm trying not to blind my coworkers lol!
