    Cool hello everyone im new here

    Hello every one im drizion im new to orchids and don't even know the name of this orchid but i seen this amazing looking orchid i don't have a picture of it right now but how ever i cut a peace of it and thought i could start my own but it's not looking to good for the lil fella ..can any one help me save or restart this plant from a snipped peace of this orchid or give me a name of this orchid it would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance to anybody willing to help..

    Hello and welcome. Not sure you have an orchid there. It looks more like a lily of some kind in the photo?

    I'm by no means a professional but I think I agree with BD , it doesn't look like any orchid I've seen before but there are many more experienced persons on here that I'm sure can tell you for certain if it is or not . Good luck with it anyway .

    First a big Welcome!

    And I have to confirm that you do not have an orchid on the photo. Orchids do not have stamens with pollen that is clearly seen in your picture (the yellow parts). Orchid has pollina covered by an anther cap.
    But if you can post a photo of the hole plant someone may be able to identify the plant.

    First of all thanks for the reply'si was just wondering because the plant it came from had a giant bud that i think was about to bloom i don't really know but it looked like the big "feed me sea more" flower from lil shop of horrors movie but thanks any ways you guys ..but i would still want try to save the lil guy cause it's a real interesting plant...
