We have no children at home. Our son is 33. The room does serve as an oasis. The lighting makes the room an excellent location for reading. We placed bird and hummingbird feeders just outside the windows so there is always something to see.

Kudos to you both, it's a beautiful thing when a marriage works like that.

Gotta say the cat show people are even worse than the dog folks... speaking as a prior dog show person who has dabbled at the very edges of cat competition *runs and hides from thrown tomatoes*
But I love the room! Do you only have the one dog? Kudos for dealing with the coat, more than I could do! And *wink* at the orchid equilibrium

    Thanks Kelly,
Until recently we had four Cotons. Our oldest dog died of a heart attack. Even though we no longer show, my wife spends about 30 hours a week taking care of coats. I watched a PBS special on ferret shows. The individuals who show ferrets are truly deranged. As best I could determine an outstandingly well behaved ferret is one who bites the judge no more than twice. I am glad you like the room. My orchid addiction requires me to always need room for one more plant!
