This is the far end of the vanda section. I hung an Aranda where it could get a ton of sun recently and it's growing like crazy. Here's hoping it blooms again this year. Below the Aranda is a terete vanda i'm seeing nice growth on. It likes the full sun spot.
Looking east, standing next to the bamboo palm you can see a section of the vandas. I try to keep them to a minimum or it cuts the air movement to the cattleya section.
I have a special shelf and area for basket plants, mounted plants and a few in pots that like the increased water and humidity of the vanda area. It gets watered every 2-3days and generally fertilized when the vanda do. I have found that segmenting my growing areas this way helps me keep them all straight.
This isn't all of it...but it's what I could find pictures for. I hope you all enjoyed the jungle i've collected back there. I have been spending a ton of time repotting and i'm finally seeing the results. I'm going to invest in some more shredded pine bark mulch...everything i've potted in that stuff recently is growing roots like crazy. First time i've found a mulch that works for potting too.
