Cool Hi...Cj's Orchid Bar is Back

It has been awhile since I've been up to participating. Hello friends! I went through a medical treatment a short while back and it has me back feeling like my old self. I have a ton going on since I have been here. I am getting a special wheelchair so I can "go walk-about" on the beaches or through the many parks in our area. It has been a long wait but in a week or two I'll be posting pics of my new chair with tracks like a military tank. Meanwhile I will do a few posts to show off the plants out back. While I was gone I had a couple friends take care of my orchids and they did so well it's spikes galore. So glad to be back!

My Encyclia are in fine form. My large Belizensis only put out 3 spikes so I will be tearing it apart shortly. I had ordered a Belizensis hybrid and it is a pleasant surprise. The flowers are large and yellow. They all have their scents and it is making the back porch smell wonderful.

I will edit a few more pics and attach them. I just released a bunch of lady bugs to help control the bugs this year. A few things are so huge I just do not understand how they aren't in bloom. lol I finally moved the terete vanda into the sun and hopefully it will get a flower spike this year...that or the huge Arachnis. I still struggle with some plants...although this year I have a grammy in spike. I spend a ton of time out back and for the first time in a long time I have two boxes of plants arriving this week.

Florida and orchids go hand in hand. I'm so glad to hear things are going well. I will have to check out your pictures.

To God be the Glory! You're back and about doing almost everything you like before; you got Great friends to take care of your babies (and they did a very Great job! Kudos to them); and lovely people around you to uplift thy Spirit; and WHHOOOOAAAHHH two more boxes to come to keep you busy. It seems "it" never stopped you, but rather aggravated your Passion for it.

    Welcome back Connie (tight Huugggsss)
