I have a fan and humidifier, keeping the percentage between 60-70%. I just put the Dracula- moneys into the aquarium. My husband thinks I've lost my mind when I stare at them growing.
I figured it out after buying 40 plants since June that it is my empty nest syndrome as my last child just left for college. I told him that he is getting off financially easy with this hobby, but he doesn't quite believe me. They stay in the kitchen when in bloom.

    A very nice grow area!

I have found a fan meant for reptiles that fits down inside the tank if you are interested, I can PM you with the name of manufacturer. Then you could close the top more and get even higher humidity there.

thanks, yes on the info, I have only a small opening in the tank top and the gauge reads 80%. This is the fan blowing on everything and the air is getting into the tank as I watched the leaves swaying. I take them all to the bath into the tub for watering, usually takes 30 -45 minutes. Looks like a good setup to me. The fan is an excellent choice for keeping exess condensation from collecting which is a common problem when growing in aquariums. I don't know if its true or not but someone once told me that aquarium plants require less watering and fertilization than those grown in pots or mounted.

PC fans are cheap and easy to wire for in the terrs.
