Diane,I love your grow cart. I have something similar but yours looks much more compact.

Mine has older style HO T12 size bulbs(yes High output, and expensive). Reg T12 bulbs blow up because the unit is built for high outpot. I was told the solution was to find T10 HO lights. I found some but they burn out in just a few months. I'm about ready to throw the whole thing out and start with T5 lights.

I like the white trays under your plants. Are they the same size as the cart, and do they have solid bottoms, so they don't drip onto the lights below?

Yes, there are solid trays with a grid in them to catch drips or hold a small amount of water for humidity. As for the T5's, I'd have to get a whole new grow set up because they do not use the same mounts as the t 12s. (But it does appear they are more effective) I have not had any problems with the T12s blowing out.

I had a problem because the unit I have takes a bulb the size of T12 but is is made for special bulbs, high output bulbs. When I would put a regular T12 into the unit it would blow a hole in it. I was told that was because I was putting a reg bulb into a high output unit, that is not compatable.

What size are the trays under your plants, and where can I find something like that?
