Oh...we only have one resident frog, the others come and go as spawning happens. Most of the babies either get eaten by the fish, killed by the lawnmower or eaten by birds. We had a blue heron come by at the end of last summer and eat all of our fish. The dang fish were about 6 in. long. Quite a snack don't you think? He did leave a handful of babies, maybe about 10 of them, but they were tiny and we didn't think that they would make it through the winter. They did though, so it was a good thing. Oh...and some wierd unknown person made a contrabution to our pond without our notice. They added two goldfish into our pond. We don't know who did it or where they came from...but at least they have a good home.
