    Unhappy Good Bye Simon

Simon was my Alexanderine he was given to me 6 years ago . Shortly after he was not acting right. I took him to an exotic vetrernarian. After tests it showed he had a liver problem he was medicated for several weeks . On the next visit blood work showed he was better .
Years went by with routine tests . He was due for another next week .
Mon . morning he was talking and eating appeared to be fine also in the afternoon . By Mon , night something was not right . He was gone by Tues. morning .
His problem was from a prior bad diet high in sunflower seed (which he loved ) and no supplements Vegs. Pellets & ect .. Simon is free now .. Gin

Oh Gin, that is very sad indeed!! I feel for your loss, but there is a pet heaven were all pets go, and Simon will be flying free under rainbows and eating all the sunflower mix he can handle, along with all kinds of other things that he probably shouldn't be eating Keep you chin up, and I hope that you get a new friend soon!

I am so sorry for your loss, Gin. Both of my cats, Fritz and Sasha, have died within the last year leaving me with an empty house.

Oh, Gin! Do you have other avian friends in the house to help with the loneliness? I have many, many budgies, but miss each one when they die. Hope you get to feeling better soon!
