Well, mine is one of those obvious ones too for people who really know me. I get my nickname from the way I sleep. During the day, I an a pretty tightly wound guy with lots of energy. I probably take on more projects than I should as I have trouble saying 'no', so I carry lots of stress in my body. When I go to bed, as my body relaxes, I let go of all that stress. As that happens, apparently I twitch and move around fairly violently (brutally) as my muscles relax and once I am asleep, I have vivid dreams and sometimes even speak or get up and walk around - lol. I have been this way since I was a kid. (Are you scared you asked now... lol)

    Cheers,
    BD

BikerDoc5968....anyone have any guesses????? This, too, isn't very hard to figure out. The number is a secret And if I tell you what it is, I might have to come to your growing area and well, you get the picture......

Well, were you able to put 2 + 2 together and get 5? I've been riding motorcycles for years ~ just another of my passions ~ and an emergency department physician for even longer...great combo!

Ron I have to tell you that you are infamous. I met someone at the last society meeting who recognized you from the internet. How did your name come up you ask?????? We were talking about bulbos of course. Thanks for all the pics, you've educated a nation.

Now to my psuedonym, I like Battlestar Galactica (the new one). Hera is the cylon/human baby. It was the first name that jumped into my brain when I signed on.

ischel...... well I could tell you that's my real name. But it's not! I've spent a lot of time south of the border in Maya land, several years back even had a heart attack while there. The folks there couldn't of been better to me, saved my life! And as coincidences would have it, the day before I had just purched a replica of the Mayan goddess Ixchel, carved in bone . Even had it hanging around my neck when the big event occurred. Ixchel it is said is the goddess of fertility and protector of women. So I changed the spelling a tad in order not to offend the goddess. And there you have it guys, no mystery there...or is there?

Mine has lots of history--although I don't know if it qualifies as interesting history.
My Dad called me Sadie from the time I was a little girl. The name actually came from a rock--yep, a rock. One of my favorite places to go back home had quite a few names carved on it from the 1800s western migration / Oregon Trail etc. Sadie was one of the names scratched into the rock partially covered with lichen etc--and it just sort of fit for me. To this day, when my Dad calls, he calls me Sadie, letters are addressed to Sadie etc. If you met my Dad, you'd think that was my real name. So, sadie seemed the obvious choice.
