This is random, but bear with me... Ok, so the last week of classes I get a letter in the mail about a student that graduated from my program in 1998. They listed me as the contact to find this person because she owed money on some student loan.
I thought it was a joke, so I threw the paper in the trash. I got another letter the next day! LOL I have not heard from this former student in over ten years. Anyway, I ask a friend of mine if she knew how to get in touch with this former student through facebook. She said that she would try. While we were having that conversation - In walked the former student!!
I could not believe it. She was visiting her family in a town about 50 miles away and she just wanted to say hello. LOL We started talking about student debt consolidation and paying back student loans. She was so embarrassed that they contacted me. I am not sure how they even got my name. We had a good laugh though.
Weird things just happen I guess. I really could not believe the coincidence. Bizarre.
Lol - Maybe. Pretty weird anyway. It was so odd because I had literally just said her name when she walks into my office. LOL.
Ok Bruce what are the Powerball winning numbers?
Just don't think about it ... come on .... You can do it ..
Channel your inner power!!!!
Seriously, what are the odds of such a coincidence as the one that happens in your story? I wouldn't believe that if I saw it in a movie.
The powerball winning numbers are 19, 23, 34,52 and 57 heheh..
Seriously, she just walked in out of the blue. I was floored. It was so weird to see her too. She was still a 'kid' when I knew her and now she is this thirty something woman with a house in Penn, a couple of dogs, and a new beau. A lot of things change in 11 years.
I'm playing those numbers so that I can repay my student loans!!!!
Believe me, if I could guess the winning numbers in a lottery, I would not be a broke college professor living in rural Arkansas from pay check to pay check. LOL!
Good luck on the numbers none the less!
Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction....must have been cool though!
Wow how strange, and awkward to boot!! Sometimes crazy things happen, but at least it was resolved it sounds like
