It's one way, but not permanent. LOL I'll be in West Hollywood. Maybe we can get together for coffee or something?

You will be close to my Beverly Hills office. I'm sort of splitting my time during 2 different offices right now, but I'm sure we can work something out!

One more week and a wake up Stacey.

I still have to do something about my orchids. I have my fingers crossed. Letty the Landscaper was here, and he's promised to be here on Monday and he said he'd take them to his house so they'd be safe and cared for. Let's hope he shows up. That will make me feel so much more comfortable.

Other than that, I'm just marking time now.

I'll send you a PM after I get there and give you contact information (phone numbers) so we can make plans to get together.

It's almost that time. Tomorrow evening around 6, the big blue van (shuttle) will be picking me up and I'll be on my merry way. I'm packed and ready to go, and for once, I'm traveling light (for me at least). Only taking one camera and that's with a fixed zoom lens, so you just know I'm going to see something I need my monster lens for.

The orchids are safe and sound and with Letty the Landscaper, so I'm very relieved. Of course, I forgot to give him the two Vandas, so I put them outside in a couple of trees. They blend in so well, that I doubt anyone will even notice them, and at least they'll be getting water and sunshine and whatever they need, compliments of Mother Nature. I did leave a message for Letty if he comes up this way though, to find them and take them to his house.

My orchid room looks positively nekkid!! I'm missing them all already. Methinks I'll have to get my friend Karen hooked on orchids too, and then we can go buy some to put on her patio with her other plants. hehehe <-- sinister laugh!!

I will have computer access while I'm out there in La La land. In fact, I've ordered a beautiful new pink netbook that will be delivered to me out there, so you will not be able to escape me. Do not even think about it.

Sounds like a fantastic trip. And I have hauled many an orchid as my carry on and personal item on the airplane. Thus far, my most successful tactic has been to have some big blooming something sticking out of the bag. Then security, the flight attendants are so busy say "oh my gosh, is that thing real!" that they don't pay attention to the sack full, far larger than the overhead bin.

Seriously, have a wonderful time.

Thanks you two.

All I know is I'm so relieved that Letty will be caring for my babies. He loves them as much as I do.

Somebody should have warned me that having orchids is like having kids or pets. It's hard to leave home without them.
