Unhappy A time for mourning............

A star’s light has faded. A young life has ended.

Grieve with me, my friends. Today, Peanut, star of stage, screen and forum has died. She was egg-bound (a condition in which produced eggs in the body are not layed) and as a result she wouldn't eat. Finally took her in to a veterinarian who removed the eggs as well as her ovaries. She still refused to eat. Her fat reserves had no doubt been completely depleted and so her refusal to eat after surgery left her with nothing to tide her over until her body could heal.

She will be missed.

Oh Paul, the Rat and I offer our deepest of sympathy to you. I am sure that Peanut will be sorely missed by you and the forum. She will live on in the wonderful pictures that you have posted.
As Ever, Cin & the Rat

I am so very sorry that Peanut has passed away, she was quite the little character and a star on the forum, she will be sadly missed but remembered dearly by all the wonderful photos you have shared with us.
