What a cute squirrel!! We have a few varieties of squirrels here, incuding the giant flying squirrel but none as cute as this. It must be the hair on the ears.

When the snow is coming, me and my friends keep walking in the city park, which is quite huge and has enclosure and special protected area, to feed the birds...

I love the colors on all of the birds. The Robin is much smaller than the North American Red Robin that we have over here. Great shots, Rich

That squirrel is really 'decked out' for winter. What fun photos. I have always admired the beauty and freedom of birds. Your close ups are super!

Can not wait to bundle up, go outside and sit on the patio to watch the chickadees and the nuthatches and the woodpeckers at the suet feeder. Last weekend I could see turkey walking in the fields, they stuck out like sore thumbs with their dark feathers against the white snow, feasting on the corn that the pickers missed.
lucky, we never see anything like squirrels and woodpeckers here, simply cause we dont have em wild or in the country at all! =(

I would love to see some pics of your snow covered area and just imagine i was there and not in this hot and sticky place! oh and some of the squirrels and woodp's PLEASE?????

oh and that squirrel looks so comical branka! i wish i could expand that onto canvas and hang it on my wall........

Great shots of the birds, Branka. How did you get those close-ups of the birds? What tele lens did you use ?
